I am an Artist, Illustrator and Educator. I hold an MFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), a MA from RISD (NCSS ‘21), and was a contributing author to Repair: Sustainable Design Futures (Routledge 2022). My training and research in dance, languages, and natural history inform my approach to art-making and storytelling. I earned my Bachelor's from the University of Oregon.
I consider different materials and material processes to be conduits for memory and connection, that reveal something essential about what it means to be human. My work traces global histories and practices in order to teach, restructure narratives, and create positive social change. I consider how illustrative storytelling can deepen understanding of ourselves and our deeply interwoven world.
